We are Terry and Amy, the owners and inspectors for TK Home Inspection. Individually we both always wanted to be business owners, but knew that it would take a partnership to make it happen.
Terry Kleptach brings construction and mechanical systems knowledge to the partnership. His experience started early when he took over the care and maintenance of his mother’s house. Always active in the construction trade, Terry was schooled in HVAC systems and worked both residential and commercial installation and service. He now uses his experience and knowledge to enable home buyers and sellers to understand the structural and mechanical integrity of their new home. He is very patient and kind, and will answer all your questions about the home you are purchasing. Even if they are plentiful!
Amy’s experience is in sales and marketing. She was a top saleswoman and then a sales trainer for a national sales force. Her “The Salesman Hat” series is nationally published series teaching new and creative ways to increase home inspection sales. She is also the founder and organizer for The CE Event which offers continuing educational classes for Realtors in Summit and Stark Counties.
Amy Kleptach was named 2013 Affiliate of the Year by the Stark County Association of Realtors. She is also a Radon Activist and the chapter president of Citizens for Radioactive Radon Reduction in Ohio. Currently Amy is the 2017-2018 president of the Stark County Toastmasters. Amy has been invited to speak at both the 2017 and 2018 ASHI Inspection World Conference. Her classes focus on building better business relationships and business systems.
We are actively involved in the Stark County Association of Realtors and Amy serves on the Affiliates Committee. Terry teaches continuing educational classes for realtors at area realty offices and at The CE Events. Check the SCAR website at http://www.starkrealtors.com/ or http://www.com.ohio.gov/real/ for a listing of all classes.
We are current members of ASHI (American Society of Home Inspectors) and follow their standards of practice. ASHI provides home inspectors with training, resources and the chance to get to know other home inspectors through training and conferences. http://ashi.org
