About Us

Terry and Amy Kleptach are the owners and inspectors for TK Home Inspection. Individually, they have always wanted to be business owners, but they have known that it would take a partnership to make it happen.

Terry brings construction and mechanical systems knowledge to the partnership. His experience started early when he took over the care and maintenance of his mother’s house. Always active in the construction trade, Terry was schooled in HVAC systems and worked both residential and commercial installation and service. He now uses his experience and knowledge to enable home buyers and sellers to understand the structural and mechanical integrity of their new home. He is very patient and kind, and will answer all your questions about the home you are purchasing even if they are plentiful!

Amy’s experience is in sales and marketing. She was a top saleswoman and then a sales trainer for a national sales force. Since then, Amy has taught at the ASHI National Convention 3 years in a row and has written articles for the ASHI Reporter Magazine. She was named 2013 Affiliate of the Year by the Stark County Association of Realtors. She is also a Radon Activist and the Chapter President of Citizens for Radioactive Radon Reduction in Ohio. Amy was the 2017-2018 President of the Stark County Toastmasters and has been invited to speak at the 2017, 2018 and 2019 ASHI Inspection World Conference.

Since 2000, Terry and Amy have been teaching Ohio Continuing Education classes for thousands of Realtors in Northeast Ohio. Amy’s classes focus on building marketing system, relationships and business systems. Terry’s classes focus on knowing features, systems and defects in the home.

Both Terry and Amy are actively involved in the Stark County Association of Realtors and Amy serves on the Affiliates Committee and are current members of American Society of Home Inspectors (ASHI). ASHI provides home inspectors with training, resources and the chance to get to know other home inspectors through training and conferences. http://ashi.org
